8 tips for a successful photoshoot on the beach
Today we want to reveal some tips to make your photo shoot on the beach unbeatable. Dress and style can make a difference on your holiday or romantic picture collection and we can help you with this. Living in the Caribbean and being photographers gives us the opportunity of working in the best office in the world: nature.
1- Light colors
Under the strong sun of the Caribbean it is better to wear light colors, comfortable fabrics and easily breathable clothes. Logos or complicated prints detracts importance from the protagonist of the session: yourself.
2-. Use the tropical environment to inspire you
Your attire should be according to your style and personality, but adapted to the paradisiacal environment where you are.
3-. Tips for him
For men it is advisable white linen shirts or light colored shirts and pants with complementary colors. We always recommend bringing an extra T-shirt, as it is easy to get wet quickly by the warm athmosphere.
4-. Tips for her
For women, steamy dresses are a good idea, as the sea always blows a soft breeze that can give that touch of romanticism and style to your appearance. Again the light colors are perfect for the occasion, and lightweight and comfortable fabrics.
Accessories such as sunglasses, scarves, hats etc are be useful and complement your attire very well! They are welcome!
6-. Combine colors
When we are working with couples or groups , it is also a good idea to combine the colors to give uniformity to the image, members of the same family can combine different shades of blue, for example to suggest the bond that unites them.
7-. Sand and sea
In any type of shooting your clothes can get wet with the waves of the sea, or dirty with the sand, just make sure that if this happens, it is not a big drama. Tell your photographer if you don’t want to get too close to the sea.
8-. Smile and enjoy!
Remember that the best of your smiles is always the complement that will make you shine in your session . Enjoy, have fun and let us surprise you!
